Post game report.
Today I played two games at 1k each. Both times I played against Space Wolf army but I played both my IG and then my Space Marine army. IG barely lost and my Space marine army held well and it won. So the outcome today was 50/50.

Greatcoat how to.
So after making my first greatcoat the way I liked it I decided to make another. This time I have taken pictures of the steps.

1.) So first have your parts you want. Along with the tools you need.

2.) Glue the legs and body together. This is where you will be attaching the greatcoat to. The arms will just get in the way.

3.) Make a ball of greenstuff. *Note- the ball I made was about twice as big as I needed. I'm still getting used to greenstuff.

4.) Roll it out into a sheet, cut and the wrap around the body. I used the handle of my exacto to roll the sheet

5.) Form the basic shape of the bottom of the coat. I used the back of my tweezers to do the basic shaping. I smoothed the shape with a wet paintbrush.

6.) Form the front and rear slits in the coat. I started by scoring the greenstuff where I wanted the slit then slowly cut away and reshaped with the exacto.

7.) Add the detail for the front of the coat. I scored the greatcoat once again with an exacto then used a tooth pic to make the holes. (I could have used the tweezers)

8.) Now for the upper body. I used a small bit of green stuff right above the belt. (I think it would look fine with out it.)

9.) Now the back. I used a small ball and spread it out on the back.

10.) Make the pleat on the back of the greatcoat with the exacto. And make a divit for the belt. (I forgot to take a picture of this.)

Now you have a greatcoat ready to put arms on it. Since myn is not dry enough to paint that is all I have so far.
*Note I am getting better at HTML. Actually I just took the source code from another forum that I orignially posted this on a few hours ago.

Master plan: Winter Cadians
Well I started on the first winter Cadian. I decided to just do one right now because I want to get it just right as a prototype before I start on the rest of them. I am prob going to have to get a lot more green stuff for this project. This is my first time doing 'real' green stuffing all the other times I have just used it as gap filler. The idea is to continue there coat they already have down past their knees, give them a coat looking back and either give them a hood on there back or give them some equipment. I want to leave the front armor and just make it look like they have cold weather gear under it.
The first one I built a few days ago and I am about done painting it. If I like how it looks the next one will prob be an officer. As ill make a command squad first then start to modify all my other Cadians. Also if I ever find my Catachans ill give them great coats and they will prob be made to look more like valhallans. The only question is what to do with the HUGE knives they have. I might just leave them with them and use them as conscripts or something. It is all up in the air. I will also might do a repaint of my chimeras and my Russes. I am not sure about the these tanks because I just repainted them but when I get closer to be being done they will look more and more out of place.

Col. Schaeffer
Finally got my hands on good old Col. Schaeffer. I think its one of the best officer models availble for the IG. Im glad I got it and its painted to my IG color scheme.
Repainting the Basilisk
Back when I first started I got and built this Basilisk. For my age at the time 11 and lack of experience I thought I did a good job. I have been meaning to repaint this Basilisk for a long time but it has been pushed back behind more IG, repaint my Russes and the repaint of my chimerias. Finally when I was looking to be paint it, I decided to start my space marine army. (Thankyou starter box) Now that the Space marine army is done. Finally I have started on the restoration of my Basilisk.
The progress is shown on the slideshow.
New and Open

Well I just got this website open for my upcoming renovations to my Imperial Guard army. I plan on redoing my IG army to have a old/worn look and winter setting. Right now my vehicles look shinny and new and my infantry look like all prim and proper (besides the bad painting on them). There will be some stuff for my Space Marine army, it was just built and shouldn't make a showing on this site for a while.
